London Trip

We got the flu in London, but before we did, we managed to enjoy some green spaces in London. In the yard where we were, we found something that looked awfully like garlic mustard (which wouldn't be surprising considering it came from Europe). The kids ate it and it tasted the same too! My looking closely at plants these days finally paid off in some good nutritious food in a foreign country for the kids!

We found something that probably was Queen Anne's Lace (which is another European import). The interesting thing was that is was flowering. I don't think Queen Anne's Lace flowers here for a while. I think because of their milder climate in London, their whole spring is shifted earlier.

I also enjoyed all the daisies and buttercups that were growing in the grass instead of the dandelions here.
